          成長歷史：這個以戴白面具、白手套和棒球帽著稱的舞團，在2003年

成立於San Diego，團名典故源於「愛麗斯夢遊仙境之鏡中奇緣」里一首叫JABBERWOCKY的鏡中詩 。

他們最初多半在SD和LA演出，2007年參加America's Got Talent第二季的比賽後，知名度大增，

2008年在America's Best Dance Crew以銳不可擋的氣勢奪下首季冠軍。

      假面舞客這一團隊創立初衷是一群朋友想要展示自由風的舞蹈。在那個時代Hip-Hop風盛行，然而到處都是一些風格相同的舞蹈團隊，那些舞蹈者所表現的舞蹈就像是克隆過一樣。「舞蹈為了跟隨音樂的節奏」和「舞蹈作為藝術表現形式」兩者之間失去了平衡。因此就有了假面舞客的誕生。
     經由《美國偶像 American Idol》評委Randy Jackson打造的《Randy Jackson Present America』s Best Dance Crew》結束了第一季的比賽，也誕生了第一隻美國最棒的舞蹈團隊，這支團隊就是JabbaWockeeZ。
     JABBA早期是7個人，其中一個名字叫GARY的人車禍去世了，所以到後面ABDC的時候他們只有6個人。他們多數舞蹈中無論開頭還是結束都有指向天的動作，那是為了紀念失去的隊友。他們的舞蹈其中又分為有10人，7人，6人，3人。每個成員都有不同的舞蹈和生活背景，這為整個團隊帶來了多元化的風格和觀點。

     在ABDC比賽期間，評審Lil Mama毫不避諱地多次表示她超挺JabbaWockeeZ，Lil Mama對JabbaWockeeZ的評論是：「每次表演時，雖然你們的腳步踩得超穩，但是手部動作卻異常優雅，這是你們與眾不同的特點，也是我愛JabbaWockeeZ的原因。」
      假面舞客這個創意來自於Joseph Larot, Kevin Brewer和Phil Tayag三個人。
　　當時整個團隊還包括另外五位成員，他們共同創造了假面舞客的特殊風格。
　　這五位成員分別是：Randy Bernal, Ryan Ellis, Chris Gatdula, Gary Kendell, Rainen Paguio。
　　而在過去的五年中，假面舞客的成員人數又增加到了11個。
　　所增加的那四位成員分別為：Ben Chung, Eddie Gutierrez, Saso Jimenez和Phi Nguyen。
　　Jabbawockeez原有11人，但由於受參賽人數限制，最後留下7人，去年又有1人病故，就剩下了現在的6人，這6人都是美國人，但5人是亞裔，1人是非洲裔：
　　越南裔1人： Jeff Nguyen
　　韓國裔1人： Ben Chung
　　菲律賓裔3人：Rynan Shawn Paguio、Phil Tayag、Chris Gatdula
　　非洲裔1人： Kevin Brewer
　　Phil Tayag23歲，Kevin Brewer31歲，其他幾個都是26歲，其他資料很難查到。

My whole crew is nasty.

Each member brings a unique flavor to the table without it our body would be incomplete.

 

Is there anything that we should know? I like to inspire and to be inspired.

Connecting with people is something I enjoy also, because life is fleeting,

we should build each other up and fellowship and enjoy one another. I like Mexican food too

What is a source of inspiration for your dancing career?

My source of inspiration is to not fall behind my crew. So I'm just trying to keep up with them.

And I also want to make sure I'm on top of my game cause there's a lot of dangers coming up and I ain't trying to get smoked

【舞者花絮】 BEN CHUNG AKA 'B-TEK'在2002年自UC Irvine畢業，他也曾是kaba Modern的舞者。
　　JabbaWockeeZ在參加ABDC之前甫遇團員不幸逝世之慟。他們在audition時便提到，他們希望為逝世的團員拿下冠軍，所以他們每次表演或謝幕時常指著上方，象徵心永遠同在。

　The group gained fame by appearing on America's Got Talent before winning the MTV hip hop dance reality series America's Best Dance Crew on March 27, 2008. The crew has won $100,000 and a touring contract after being crowned as America's Best Dance Crew in season one. The crew is known for wearing plain white masks and gloves and performing synchronized dance moves. Their name is derived from the Lewis Carroll poem Jabberwocky (featured in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland).
　　originally the group that was going to compete on America's Best Dance Crew had seven members, including the late Gary Kendell. Unfortunately, Kendell passed away shortly before the group's start on the show America's Best Dance Crew due to pneumonia. The six JabbaWockeeZ members on the show told the judges during the Live Auditions Special that Gary was the "Yoda" of their crew and that they were doing the show for him. They have stated, "As a tribute to him we point our fingers in the air after each performance
